Leupold sees the value of international training.

American optics giant Leupold & Stevens welcomed around 120 distributors, retailers and tactical buyers to an exclusive international operators’ meeting in Ireland.

With a vast portfolio of optics covering many spheres, communicating all of the features and benefits of them to your international customer base in both the commercial trade and the tactical market involves a major strategy. However, when you want to physically show off these benefits and get industry buyers to find out the advantages for themselves there is only one way to do it – gather them all together at a stunning venue in conjunction with that region’s major distributor, arrange product testing at the best shooting range available and bring across your best team to explain what marks Leupold products apart from its competitors.

It’s a massive undertaking but with the passion, drive and knowledge of the Leupold staff allied to the organisational know-how and support of Irish-based distributor Daniel Technologies, the stunning Kinnitty Castle Hotel in County Offaly, Ireland, opened its doors to 120 of the key buyers from across the globe. The groups were shown how to get the most from Leupold’s wide range of observation devices, from spotting scopes and binoculars to purpose-designed, engineered and built riflescopes.

Representing countries as diverse as the UK, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Bulgaria and Ukraine, to name just a few, the distributors and operators were given the opportunity to see and try the very latest products from the top American manufacturer. They were given hands-on tutorials and training during workshops, product testing at the impressive Midlands Shooting Centre of Ireland and the opportunity to feedback any other requirements or suggestions as part of a question and answer session or during several dinners and social occasions.
