OTIS was established in 1985 when founder, a 16-year-old Doreen Garret, fell into cold mud while deer hunting with her father. The barrel of her grandfathers Model 84 Winchester was full of mud and the days of hunt was over.
On that particular day, Doreen had an idea for revolutionising gun maintenance and coming up with a clever fix for an issue that every shooter, hunter, soldier and owner of a firearm has faced.
